We Only Get One Time Around

We Only Get One Time Around

Ephesians 5:15-17

15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do

I would hate to hear at the end of my life that I had a lot of potential. We all want to have an impact on our loved ones and communities, but it doesn’t happen by accident. What we spend our time doing will greatly affect our legacy. Social media is sucking more and more time away from people connecting and contributing. We all have the same seven days a week to work with, so what gets in your way of accomplishing your goals and dreams? Is there anything you need to let go of to get back on the right path that God has for you?

 Romans 12:4-6a

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.

God has given each one of us different gifts to bless and build others up. He doesn’t want or expect us to do it all, but he is calling us to follow Him so we can do good works that He’s leading us into.

Is there anything you are currently doing that may cause you to go down a path that leads to a dead end or a burning building. Ask God to reveal your gifts and your present and long-term purpose. Then you will need to commit to follow Him, no matter how much it diverges away from your wants, goals, and plans.

Esther 4:14b

Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.

John 10:10b

I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.

Let’s not just exist and coast through life.

What is the Holy Spirit saying to you through these scriptures?
