As missionaries in Tanzania, Steve and Carol Lyons have had an explosion of mission opportunities Your prayer support is needed for the two Discipleship Teams that have come from their students. Currently Steve and Carol are traveling in California raising support for the TIMO Team. (Training In Ministry Outreach) They are looking for couples and singles interested in full time cross cultural work.
You can help pray for some of the needs below!
New opportunities for Christian teachers! Along the coast of Tanzania there are eight tribes which have no indigenous
church. A plea from Christian workers in those areas has resulted in one of last year’s students being placed in a new area.
• Pray that God will continue to open doors for teachers to live and teach among those who don’t yet know Jesus.
• This newly placed teacher is facing opposition from family members who see this assignment as a dead-end position
for a gifted young man. He feels sure that this is what God would have him do. Pray for him.
• As he did last year, Steve will take this year’s group (Team II) on a Missions Vision Trip in early December.
Ask the Lord to lay these unreached places heavily on the hearts of these men.
