Pray for others too:

Recently, as I contemplated my prayer needs, God spoke through the confusion I was experiencing: What about the needs of others? Don’t forget to petition God the Father for the needs of others. Immediately I remembered my numerous prayer lists, the members of my family, church family, single parents, singles, couples, widows, orphans, co-workers, prisoners, and other acquaintances. I see the names, and the faces, I see the written, and spoken prayer requests. And in the words, of one of my ministry partner, I am touching and agreeing on those unspoken prayers, including those discerned. Interestingly, by praying, petitioning the Lord on behalf of others, my personal plight, the trials, and tests are far from the forefront of my thoughts. When Jesus sent out His followers on the great commission in Matthew 28:16-20, He said little if anything about their personal comforts and the funding of their efforts.

Matthew 28:16-20

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus can and said to them, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

United as believers in Christ Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, let us agree in prayer, asking the Lord Gods perfect will in our lives. I will pray for you, you pray for me.

Post your prayer request, and I will join you in prayer.
