We’re In This Together (series)

I was 10 years old when I saw the shape of a scary face in my bedroom window.  The light hit the glass in just the right way to cause me to fear death.  The only thing that changed that night was that I believed the lie that if I fell asleep I was in danger.  But lies are funny things.  They can feel so much like truth.

God’s word says that “the truth will set you free”, that also means that the opposite is true.  Believing a lie will put you in bondage and make you a slave to how you feel.  I’m excited for our Church family to experience freedom in Christ in new ways as we continue in the book of Romans.

“We’re In This Together” is the second of three, in the series of the Book of Romans.  Why do I struggle so much with sin if I’m truly saved?  Can I lose my salvation?  Wouldn’t it be easier to live out my Christian walk if I didn’t have to deal with other people?  Can I really break free from the sin that controls my life?  What does it mean to be filled with the Spirit?  Has God rejected Israel?       These are all questions I get on a somewhat regular basis that Romans, chapters  6-11 will be dealing with.   I would like to invite you to join us on Sunday mornings as we discover God’s plane for our lives as we deal with sin, guilt, fear, justice and God’s sovereignty.
