We Are In This Together
Daniel 2:17-18 Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
Sometimes God’s tests come through people who ask you to do something difficult. It’s so important to first go to God in prayer and then seek prayer support from your friends. We aren’t called to this journey alone.

Who do you go to for prayer support when you’re facing the serious struggles? How have you seen God work when you pray for others?

Daniel knew the kingdom was in trouble. The king clearly wasn’t thinking right. He was mentally disturbed and going to kill everyone in his court! So What did Daniel do? He got his prayer team praying.

We all need a prayer team we can be completely honest with. People we trust with sharing what we are really going through. It doesn’t need to be a lot of people, but we weren’t created to do it alone.

Four men carried their paralyzed friend on a mat and ripped through a neighbor’s roof so he could be healed by Jesus. Notice what Jesus said.
Matthew 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

When he saw the faith of the friends who brought him, Jesus responded.
Whose mat are you carrying. Who is carrying your mat?
