Discipline of Obedience

Deuteronomy 13:4

It is the Lord your God you must follow and Him you must revere. Keep His commands and obey Him; serve Him and hold fast to Him.

1 Samuel 15:22

But Samuel replied:

“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord?

To obey is better than sacrifice and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

Proverbs 19:16

He who obeys instructions guards his life, but he who is contemptuous of his ways will dies (read the amplified)

Acts 5:29

Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than men!

John 14:14; 15

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

If you love me, you will obey what I command.
