The Blessing Of Salvation

The Blessing Of Salvation
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
Salvation is God’s work from beginning to end. All we do is believe God truth from His word and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We have a God who loves us so much that Christ came to save the lost by dying on the cross for our sins and raising from the dead, to conquer sin and death. We can receive what He has done or reject His love and sacrifice.
When we come to faith, we are born again. We go from spiritual death to eternal life. Eternal life means just that, life without end in God’s presence.
We serve a holy God and yet we have sin. That’s why God had to die on the cross for our sins, so that we could be with Him without our sin making Him unholy. Life without a right relationship with God, is filled with fear, anxiety, doubt, and discouragement. These things didn’t exist before the fall in the garden of Eden. When Adam decided to tell God, that he wanted to decide what is right and wrong. He broke humanities relationship with God. I am so thankful God cares about us so much that He died and rose again to restore that relationship with everyone who will receive his love.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Being reconciled to God means that we will live with Him forever. He doesn’t just live with us, He is in us and we are in Him.
