Agendas; Ours vs God’s — Mk 8:34 Jesus called the crowd to him with his disciples saying and said: “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.”
God Equips and Prepares us for His Agenda — Matt 11:28-29 Jesus said “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Sacrifice, Worship, and Transformation — Rom 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is; His good, pleasing and perfect will.
