piritual Warfare: Love Is A Battlefield (Series)

2 Corinthians 10:5 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. A believer can destroy arguments and pride in Christ.

John 5:6-9,14 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” 7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.” 8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. 14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

Did he want to be healed?

2 Corinthians 10:6 (Connected to verse 2) 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. Punishment doesn’t produce obedience. Real obedience comes only from a transformed heart.
