Redemption Comes Before Righteousness

Isaiah 64:5-6
You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways. But when we continued to sin against them, you were angry. How then can we be saved? 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. How can we be saved?
Christianity is unique because redemption comes before righteousness, which empowers worship.
Redemption is expressed by several Greek terms, each with different shades of meaning.
Bought (Peripoieo) To purchase and gain possession of something. (Acts 20:28)
Redemption (Apolytrosis) To release from bondage upon payment of a ransom. (Romans 3:23-24)
Redeem (Exagorazo) To buy or take out of the market. (Galatians 3:13-14)
Redeem (Lutroo) To be set free upon payment of a ransom. (1 Peter 1:18-19) How does this effect our worship?
