Hebrews 3:12-15 We can experience rest through faith in Christ.
Hebrews 3:16-19 These people had left Egypt and fulfilled every prescribed symbol of deliverance, but they were not delivered.

Hebrews 4:1-2 The Hebrew people had belief that the land existed. There was even a strong desire to enter the land, but they did not enter because there was no faith.
The goal of His working in us is our rest. Now what is this rest?
Hebrews 4:3-11 We all have been brainwashed since birth with a false concept of what it means to be whole, then we wonder why we always feel like there has to be more to life. We were separated from God by sin and that is why we feel anxious, confused, angry, and fearful. We can only find rest in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 4:12-13 When we enter God’s rest His word becomes alive and we live differently because of our transforming faith.
Hebrews 4:14-16 Through an active faith we discover a wonderful lifting of our burdens, a wonderful freedom. We have entered into rest.
