God Equips Us For His Challenging Path

God Equips Us For His Challenging Path
Ephesians 3:16-21
16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in
your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established
in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp
how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know
this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure
of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably
more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work
within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all
generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Before God ever asks us to do things for Him, He thoroughly equips and
empowers us through faith to complete every task in His will. This anointing
through the Holy Spirit allows the impossible to be accomplished. Unlike
us, God isn’t limited in what He brings to achieve His will. He also anoints
our lives so that we can be a blessing to others.
1 Thessalonians 5:24
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
If we stay in step with the Holy Spirit, His power will continue to be renewed
within us. Without the Lords leading and anointing we are destined to
frustration and defeat, but if we seek His will and follow His lead, our Lord
is faithful and will accomplish many great things through us. When is the
last time you asked for God’s anointing?
James 4:2-3
2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what
you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not
ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong
motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

What are you striving after in life that you suspect isn’t God’s will for you?
When we seek to please our will, we end up in combative relationships.
