Is doubt keeping you from hearing what God wants you to know?
2 Peter 1:19-21
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
As we study End Times on Sunday mornings, one thing will become clear. All of Daniel’s prophecies have been right so far. That lets us know that Daniel’s prophecies about End Times, that haven’t happened yet, will also be fulfilled. Every one of them will one day become history. The Bible is God’s word. It’s God’s very breath.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The Bible is God’s truth, and it is full of thousands of prophecies. These prophecies have already become part of our history as God Promised, or they will soon be fulfilled in the future. When, where, and why Jesus was born, were all prophesied about long before his birth. Everything happened, just as the scriptures foretold. Jesus’ crucifixion was prophesied about a thousand years before the Romans invented crucifixion. You have to have a lot of misplaced faith to believe that the more than 300 prophecies about Jesus were all by chance.
Psalm 119:160
All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
What is the Holy Spirit saying to you through these scriptures?
