Where in your life are you living in bondage to regret and disappointment?
We all have regrets in life. Times where we chose to go through certain doors that led to disappointment and hurt our future and the people closest to us. The doors that we choose to go through will greatly impact the life we live. Some of those doorways lead to great blessings and others lead to bondage of the soul. How can we possibly know which doors to enter and which doors to turn away from?
Matthew 7:7-8 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Our success often depends on which doors in life we go through. Many doors we’ve already chosen to go through have led to sadness and failure. It’s so important to know which doors to open and which doors need to remain shut and locked.
No door is more important than the only door that leads to spiritual freedom. There are many forms of prison. Spiritual, relational, and emotional prisons have become homes to many good people. God came so that we could exit out of lives enslaved with grief, guilt, and anxiety. Freedom from these things can only be found in Christ Jesus, so opening the right door is important.
Regardless of what kind of prison you’re being held in, Christ gave His life so that you could be free to experience peace and joy in this life and for all of eternity.
John 10:9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.
Jesus isn’t just pointing at the right door, He is the door to freedom and purpose. Enter and be blessed.
