The Bible (Old and New Testament) is God’s Word to us, the final authority for faith and life, God breathed and without error in the original writings. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
…about God
God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are one God.
…about Christ
Jesus Christ is the son of God. He became human, lived a sinless life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He physically rose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He then rose to heaven and will return again to reign as King of Kings.
…about Humanity
Man was created in the image of God, to be like Him in character, but in Adam’s sin we all inherit a sinful nature, and are separated from God. We are totally unable to bridge the separation by ourselves.
…about Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty, separation from God.
…about the Church
The Church is the body and the bride of Christ, made up of all persons who have trusted in Jesus as their savior. We believe that the establishment of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament. We recognize believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper as biblical means of testimony for the church in this age.
…about the 2nd Coming
We believe in the personal, imminent, pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones.
